The "chada".

This is the Neemah_Coureloū "chada" (pronounced tsada/τσάντα, bag). 

100% handcrafted, designed and made in downtown Athens - Greece, each Neemah_Coureloū "chada" is uniquely original and takes fifteen days to make. Inspired by greek folk art, the Neemah_Coureloū "chada" is an all-season boho piece, crocheted with cool wool and a wide flat handle of 100% untreated leather. New color schemes are explored when seasons change. Please treat each "chada" as a visual art attempt rather than a carrier bag. (OK, it's just a bag, still not made to carry a lot more than what's truly necessary, meaning your phone, your keys, your lip balm, an airplane ticket and a love letter). Each original Neemah_Coureloū "chada" is trademarked by its bright colors and a black and white detail or pattern (mainly a meander) - because life is all about the colors but it's the black and white moments that help you re-evaluate things and eventually move forward.

Who is Neemah Courelou.

Neemah Coureloū (Νήμα Κουρελού) is an athens based creator of handmade "arm candies", using twine, yarn, thread and leather.

Neemah Coureloū's philosophy is: "gimme a break with philosophy, we are talking about bracelets and bags here". 

All inspiration comes from whatever makes Greece greek, aka the aegean wind, the greek "den variesai" lifestyle, the geometry of the emblematic ancient greek "meandros" (μαίανδρος, meaning meander) and the patterns of the unpretentious greek tagari (which is a folk-art shepherd's bag). 

Neemah Courelou's trademark  version - the "chada" (τσάντα, meaning bag)- is 

a uniquely original boho piece (100% handcrafted),  that takes fifteen days to make. 

Neemah_Coureloū's "chada" is an all-season choice, crocheted with soft yarn and a wide flat handle of 100% untreated rustic leather. 

New color schemes are explored when seasons change. 

The "vrahiolee" (βραχιόλι, meaning bracelet):

The greek "kako mati" (κακό μάτι), is the inspiration for a talisman bracelet that bring you luck, inner peace and happin...(OH! PLEASE! This is not a Paulo Coehlo page.) Neemah Courelou's "vrahiolee" is the "kalo mati" (benevolent eye) alternative. 

Other bracelets, as the "meandros" (μαίανδρος, meaning meander) and the "kilimi" (κιλίμι, 

meaning rug) complete the collection.

The art of "kοbodetiki" (κομποδετική, known as macramé) is lost back in time and originates in grandmothers around the world. New designers keep adding new shapes, new colors, and new materials and it is all about each creator's inspiration to present something "new".

Neemah (Νήμα) in greek means thread, and Coureloū (Κουρελού) reffers to a messy cheap folk-art rug. What a great thing self sarcasm is, no?

"Tagari" is also a tasmanian aboriginal word meaning "those of us who are gathered here" or "us mob". Oh, my!
